Gluten free baking equipment

When I started baking gluten free, I found that some of my old baking equipment wasn’t suitable, even when thoroughly cleaned to avoid cross contamination.  I found that gluten free breads, biscuits and cakes all had a tendency to stick.  So I bought lots of new items which have worked better. Amongst the most useful things are:

  • 1lb loaf tins from Lakeland
  • Magic non-stick liner from Lakeland
  • Baking parchment
  • Non-stick basic baking sheets from Asda
  • Colourful plastic stacking bowls from Asda
  • Measuring spoons
  • Digital scales
  • Whisk, wooden spoons and spatula
  • Rolling pin
  • Cheap plastic chopping boards
  • Mini quiche tins with loose bottoms (otherwise known as tartlet tins)
  • Deep non-stick muffin tins
  • Cup cake cases
